Fishology offers some typical Kenai River Fishing Guide and lodging packages to get you started, but we prefer to customize your vacation based on your needs and expectations. Whether you’re looking for an all-inclusive fishing & lodging vacation package, or just a single fishing trip, we’re here to ensure your experience is as close to perfect as possible, and customized to YOUR desires! Full Day River Fishing for Salmon and/or Trout = $1200 (private charter) or $300/person (shared charter)
- 8 hours of fishing for King, Sockeye, Silver, Trout or a combination of multiple species on either the Kenai or Kasilof Rivers with the best Kenai River Fishing Guides on the river. Species and location depends upon your preferences and the timing/date of the trip, but we play it by ear to take you where the fish are to ensure the highest odds at success. This trip is great for beginners and experts alike, and being our most popular trip it comes highly recommended!

¾ Day River Fishing for Salmon and/or Trout = $1000 (private charter) or $250/person (shared charter)
- 6 hours of fishing for King, Sockeye, Silver, Trout on either the Kenai or Kasilof River with the best Kenai River Fishing Guides available! Species and location depends upon your preferences, the season, and the runs. For many folks, the ¾ day is the perfect amount of time to be on the water.

Half Day River Fishing for Salmon or Trout = $800 (private charter only)
- 4.5 hours of fishing for King, Sockeye, Silver, Trout on either the Kenai or Kasilof River with the best Kenai River Fishing Guides on the river. Species and location depends upon your preferences and the timing/date of the trip, but we always take you where the fish are!

Fly Out Fishing = $650.00+
- Fly out fishing trips depart from a local Kenai Peninsula lake and fly across Cook Inlet to a variety of different locations including Big River Lake, The Kustatan River, Crescent River, Alexander Lake, among others. Fish for Sockeye, Silvers, King, Pike, Trout, and Grayling in some of the most wild and beautiful places on Earth. Think of a fly out fishing trip as a scenic flight tour, a wildlife viewing tour, and a fishing trip all in one!
Halibut Fishing = $350.00+
- Choose to fish out of Cook Inlet or Prince William Sound for the tastiest fish there is in the world. Catching is fast and furious, size can range from small “chicken” halibut up to “barn door” halibut weighing hundreds of pounds.
Saltwater Combo Fishing (halibut/salmon/rockfish) = $450.00
- If you’re looking for a long and very productive day of FISH ON in the saltwater this is the trip for you!
Scenic Nature Float = $800 (private charter only)
- If you’d rather enjoy a quiet stretch of water without the worry of catching fish, then there are several peaceful floats to enjoy on the Kenai Peninsula. We’ll provide lunch, and you just sit back and relax while taking in the scenery and wildlife. Bringing a camera is highly recommended!

The Kenai River is possibly the most underrated rainbow trout fishery in the world. If you’re a “trout bum” and want to spend lots of time chasing true trophies that can only be found in Alaska, then bring it on! Fly or spin fishing options. This package is best booked late August, September, and early October.

* A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. A local sales tax will be added to all charters & packages. All deposits are non-refundable without a 90 day cancellation in writing. Final payment is due 60 days prior to your trip. Fishology accepts check, cash, credit card, Venmo, and Zelle as payment.
